Fume Hood Acid Storage Cabinets:

• Acid storage fume hood cabinets shall utilize the same thickness of steel and construction features as other base cabinets except they shall be completely lined with a Polyethylene corrosion resistant liner. The liner shall be 5mm thick, Each door shall have a set of louvers at the top and bottom, and have a 3mm sheet polyethylene liner. Where specified, each cabinet shall be vented into the fume hood with a 40mm vent pipe. It should provide a positive airflow directly into the fume hood exhaust system. Where specified or shown on drawings, epoxy coated wire shelf supported by integral brackets shall be built into the Polyethylene liner.

Walk In Fume Hood are available in the standard lengths of 4ft to 9ft and also available for custom sizes depending on the lab space requirements. Their exterior panels are constructed with heavy gauge cold rolled steel, phosphate coated with a baked chemical resistant and synthetic resin finish. They are available with vertical and horizontal sash types, radiuses corner posts and airfoils for smooth air movement assuring high levels of comfort, safety and efficiency. These hoods are designed and tested using ASHRAE 110-1995, BS 7258 and DIN 12.924 Standards.
